Last
year my travels included a photographic trip to Svalbard (Norweigen Arctic)
- land of the polar bear and walrus. This destination is included in Lonely
Planet's Top 10 Destinations for 2009.
On the way back to Australia I stopped at the Borneo diving mecca of Sipadan
to warm up. Then just before Christmas I discovered some great personalised
tours of the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. Hopefully details of
these will be in a publication near you soon!
So far in 2009 I have had a short break in Singapore where everyone in Chinatown was getting ready for New Year. This was folllowed by a diving adventure to Koh Phi Phi and the Similan Islands in Thailand where I saw manta rays for the first time. I'm not sure what will be next.....but I'm off to Chile and the Galapagos Islands in December....so watch this space.
